Paulo Mendes

Paulo graduated in Computing Engineering from PUC-Rio de Janeiro and holds a Finance degree from FGV and an MBA from The University of Edinburgh.

He is the founder of Valuent Investimentos, an advisory boutique focused on M&A, private placements and IPOs, activities that he has been practicing throughout his career as a senior executive at the investment banking divisions of JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Banco Votorantim and Banco Santander.

In those institutions, Paulo held leadership positions such as Head of Equity Capital Markets for Latin America, Head of Equities and Head of the Investment Banking Division.

Besides working-related rush, Paulo is also a runner and regular tennis player.
